The GE digital signal processor control board DS200DSPCH1 has expandable local I/O that can directly connect control signals. There are several ways to reset the processor on the DS200DSPCH1. You can use the VME system reset command, or you can command the VME main bus to write to the VME control register, use the power on standby function, or use the reset button on the board.

Flash memory is available on a removable SIMM card, and EEPROMs can be added to the connectors on the board. Each location of the daughter card contains two connectors. One is a 60 pin connector and the other is a 40 pin connector. They provide high-speed signal connections and power connections. These four positions are interchangeable. However, after assigning cards to a project, the cards must maintain the same card position.
